About the AWC280-T2
The Monitor Audio AWC280-T2 Speaker features a high performance C-CAM bass and high frequency drivers. The C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) twin tweeters offer generous stereo sound from a single speaker. The C-CAM Gold treble units deliver an ultra-extended frequency response to a ensure smooth, detailed and precise treble response.
Design
The Monitor Audio AWC280-T2 Speaker includes a Stainless Steel trim-less grille which is both strong and corrosion-resistant. To further prevent rust and corrosion, the AWC280-T2 features non-ferrous Samarium Cobalt magnets for grille attachment. The Monitor Audio Speaker is IP55 certified for extreme climate conditions featuring Salt Spray, UV Stability, Water, Vibration and Anti-Corrosion. The Ceiling Speaker is equipped with EPDM barriers to prevent moisture. EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber membrane (ethylene propylene diene monomer). The Monitor Audio AWC280-T2 Ceiling Speaker is finished in a neutral dark grey with a magnetic white grille that can be painted to create an effortless blend into your chosen environment.
Installation
For easy and long-lasting installation, the Monitor Audio AWC280-T2 Speaker includes Patented Tri-grip Dog-leg fixings. The Speaker’s Gold plated push terminals and Stainless fixing screws have silicone covers. The Monitor Audio AWC280-T2 Speaker is applicable in pool rooms, bathrooms, marine deck and universal outdoor installation.
