About the AWC280 Speaker
The Monitor Audio AWC280 Outdoor Ceiling Speaker features a high performance C-CAM bass and high frequency drivers. The C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) gold treble unit and woofer delivers genuine hi-fi sound quality with an extended frequency response which performs a precise, smooth and detailed sound.
The AWC280 Speaker is designed for ceilings, but can be mounted in-wall. The Speaker is finished in a neutral dark grey with a magnetic, white grille which can be painted a colour of your choice for an effortless blend into your chosen environment. The Monitor Audio AWC280 Speaker is designed with an all-weather construction and is IP55 certified for extreme climate conditions featuring Salt Spray, UV Stability, Water, Vibration and Anti-Corrosion. EPDM barriers are included in the ceiling speaker to prevent moisture. EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber membrane, known as Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer.
The Monitor Audio AWC280 Speaker is quick and easy to install. The AWC280 features Gold plated push terminals and Stainless fixing screws with Silicone covers. For easy and long-lasting installation, the AWC280 features patented Tri-grip Dog-leg fixings. The Monitor Audio AWC280 is applicable in pool rooms, bathrooms, marine deck and universal outdoor installation.
