The Monitor Audio W280 In-wall speaker has an 8-inch C-CAM bass driver and a more highly specified version of the C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter offer an extended high-frequency response to 30 kHz, as well as higher output and power handling capacity.

Technology
The Monitor Audio W280 In-Wall Speaker features a 2-way design and an 8" bass cone, ideal for larger rooms at higher volumes. W280's optimum imaging and set up are established via a pivoting tweeter, high frequency (+3 dB / 0 dB / -3 dB) level adjustment and boundary compensation (on/off) controls. The Monitor Audio W280 uses both the Monitor Audio's C-CAM gold treble unit and the C-CAM bass driver to provide genuine Hi-Fi sound quality. The in-wall speaker also features a pivoting tweeter with a stretch of 15 degrees in all directions.
Design
The Monitor Audio W280 In-Wall Speaker is finished in a neutral dark grey with a magnetic off-white grille that can be painted a colour of your choice to create a seamless blend into your living environment. An additional scrim material is provided for trouble-free painting. The in-wall speaker offers a splash and humidity-proof design suitable for installations in shower rooms or pool areas. The W280 also features a dust protection cover that is designed to prevent the ingress of dirt or dust into the driver and crossover.
