Description
CR60 Projector Lift
The CR60 projector lift is a retractable projector ceiling mount used to hide your projector into the ceiling when it's not being used.
The motorised feature of the projector lift allows it to retract at the touch of a button.
Side View Dimensions
The side view shows the CR60 lift requires 10" joists, with a distance of 780mm between joists. It is normal to trim a section from one joist to fit the lift.
Looking from the rear view you can see that the width required above the plasterboard cutout is 780mm.
Note that the minimum width above the plasterboard is wider then the plasterboard cutout, as the actuators are wider and these step over the plasterboard when installed.
A unique lightweight aluminium construction encases the projector whilst retaining a smooth exterior profile.
This enables home owners to have a fully recessed ceiling lift mechanism that is only seen when it’s meant to be.
Easy Installation
As with our screens, lifts are designed with installation in mind, and can easily be fitted to standard ceilings creating the most compact in-ceiling projector lifts available.
Our unique mounting system means you don’t even have to paint the ceiling after fitting
Built In Control System
Designed and programmed in-house, our control system provides the most advanced features of any screen in the world.
Quiet and Precise
Our 24v DC linear actuator drive motors provide the fastest, most reliable, and precise operation.
Linked to our own advanced current sensing control system ensures that the ceiling lift closes seamlessly every time with near silent operation of only 35dB.
Advanced Construction
Whether its the hi-tech Drylin linear bearings or the lightweight aerospace grade alloy construction, that we bond rather than weld for superior performance, we ensure every detail has been meticulously worked out to provide the perfect motorised projector lift.
Software Configuration App
Do you want to change the way the projector lift operates, update firmware, or simply see how many times it’s gone up and down?
Well now you can with our Control Pad software. Free to download, It has all the features you could possibly need.

Superior build quality, excellent connectivity options, a couple design flaws
“First, I love this lift and would recommend it to anyone. I made the right choice and would do the exact same if starting over. A few thoughts:
Build quality:
This is very heavy-duty, solid steel construction. Weld points are rock solid, but nicely trimmed flush to the metal surface. Motor is very powerful to handle heavy loads; i have a 30lb projector mounted to this and it has no problem. Build quality verdict = 5/5 stars
Connectivity: this has 3 x 3.5mm trigger ports: 12v in, 12v out, and RS232 in/out. So you can easily configure your setup to have the projector drive the lift or the lift drive the projector. I did the latter, from my projector 12v out to the lift 12v in. Then I ran a 2.5mm IR blaster extension from my Logitech Harmony Hub so that I can just tell Alexa to turn on Main Blu-ray, for example, and the AVR, Blu-ray player, and projector turn on. The power-on of the projector triggers the lift to lower. Power off of the projector triggers the lift to raise, but not for a few minutes (which is great so that things can cool off first. Connectivity verdict = 5/5 stars
Design: the lift consists of the main housing. a separate inner platform mount to which you mount the projector, and a three-sided protective panel/base. The main housing has two synchronized motors - one on each side that raise/lower the projector mount. Protective panel/based is three-sided, which protects the projector sides and rear and adds to the aesthetic -- flourished with an attractive Pure Theatre logo cutout on the rear vertical mount panel. When mounted into ceiling, this is *almost* flush to the ceiling surface -- sits below the ceiling surface maybe 2-3mm is all. The mount/housing design is ingenious -- after removing the protective panel, no screws required to remove in order to separate, just push the front of the mount upward and then back -- it follows a track that then drops open so the mount slides out, the the rear of the mount slides forward and the entire mount is free. Very cool. Mount also has gross and fine vertical adjustments which are also very simple and very useful. Now for the complaints: (1) in order to remove the mount plate/projector, you must first remove the protective panel, (2) you MUST remove four set screws to separate/remove the protective panel from the projector mount plate, (3) in order to remove the protective panel mount screws, the lift must be in the lowered position, (4) ports for the 12V/RS232 trigger and power are on the *exterior* of the main housing, meaning that when the housing is installed in the ceiling, the ports sit between the housing metal panel and the subfloor joists. These design flaws mean that (a) the power and trigger ports can ONLY be accessed (i.e., connecting cables) if the *entire unit* (i.e., not just panel and mount, but the whole main housing) is completely removed from the ceiling; if the ports were instead on the internal surface of the main housing, then they could easily be accessed by simply removing the mount rather than the entire unit; and (b) if there is a loss of power (i.e., if the included power supply fails, there is NO WAY to remove the protective panel, and thus NO WAY to remove the projector mount without removing the entire unit; and (c) although there are 4 mounting holes up on the main housing, these MAY NOT be used due to risk of not being able to remove the entire lift unit in event of power failure; mounting the main housing may ONLY be done using the 10 holes on the bottom surface of the main housing. Design verdict = 4/5 stars”

Perfect Match JVC and CR60
“I had limited ceiling void space and I was very pleased to find that pure theatre make the most compact projector lift of any I could find on the market.
As I have the JVC NZ8, my av contractor advised me that a projector lift would not fit as my ceiling joists are only 10" high.
CR60 to the rescue. Not only does this projector lift fir the JVC NZ8 perfectly, its also only requires 230mm high ceiling void.”
