Stunning concealed home cinema within extension

A concealed home cinema has been fitted as part of a single storey rear & side extension to this property in Staffordshire. The customer was looking to create an open plan living and dining area and wanted a system that would hide away when required. After coming to the Pure Theatre Demo Centre the customer opted for a bronze home cinema package. 

PRODUCTS

When concealed the living room features a beautiful large art piece with feature acoustic slat wood panelling with LED lighting on either side. At the touch of a button a 104” projector screen and the Pure Theatre CR35 Projector lift lower to allow the customers to enjoy TV and movies. 

For sound the package includes a 5.1.2 Surround sound system with the front speakers sitting below the screen and the surrounds and height channels located in the ceiling. Bass comes from a REL HT/1003 MKII Subwoofer.

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

Featuring a skylight, the new extension would require a projector to be housed in a ceiling projector mount but this needed to work around the skylight in the roof. Our home cinema specialists were able to look at the dimensions of the room and calculate the correct throw distances so that the projector could sit behind the skylight creating a fantastic image on the screen whilst leaving the skylight undisturbed. 

OUTCOME

The resulting room is a beautiful light open plan space which transforms at the touch of a button. This is a wonderful example of what can be achieved with our bronze home cinema package.
